Hygiene control

Body Shock prides itself on it's standard of hygiene. Because of the lack of laws and standards in this country at the moment Body Shock is forced to govern itself as far as health and safety is concerned. We go to great lengths to ensure all of our equipment is 100% sterile and that the studio is cleaned from top to bottom every day. We are currently in discussion with the Irish health board to rectify this problem, they have said that they will have a solution to this problem this year, "but don't hold your breath" ..... We have three sections to all of our sterilisation process.


1) All reusables are cleaned in a strong disinfectant, for a recommended time.		2) Next they are put through our Ultrasonic bath which removes all stubborn dirt such as Blood and lube.After that is complete and they are dried.		3) They are put into sterile bags and put through our Autoclave, which is "Spore tested" monthly.

Once they are dried from that they are then stored away for use. Body Shock does not use guns for any of it's piercings, As we find them to be unsatisfactory and unsanitary. Our piercing rooms are cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis.
